I tried the Cuban cuisine at this restaurant, which is reasonably priced and has a nice, clean atmosphere. I ordered several items from the extensive menu, but I wasn't overly impressed. The food was well-presented and freshly prepared, but some dishes didn't quite measure up to what I've had in Miami, Florida. It's possible that the chef might not be Cuban, or perhaps it just wasn't their best day. Overall, it's a decent establishment.
Best Cuban Restaurant in all of Los Angeles, worth the drive. Food was delicious, very authentic, generous servings. Ambiance is wonderful, well appointed table settings, music. The staff is top notch attentive, polite. Great prices for the quality and entire experience. I had the traditional chicken with onions, super! I will go back next time I visit LA.
I absolutely love cuban food, but its hard to find fresh cuban food nearby. This place always has fresh food with good service and variety of plates. Everytime I pass by El Monte, I know I have to make a stop here. The area and parking situation are not the best, but the food makes it completely worth it.
I had not had Cuban food before, friend of mine said we should go and try it that she'd been there and it was very good. I have to agree, the food was very tasty and I definitely will be going back next time I'm in the area, and I suggest you do as well. Their sandwiches are absolutely incredible. This Cuban restaurant is absolutely my favorite. The oxtail was incredibly delicious and the meat just melted in my mouth. The portion size was very reasonable for the price. I will definitely be bringing my friends next time. Overall, it is just a fantastic place.
The food was delicious, but the service could use some work. They are definitely missing out on not having live music. We will definitely eat here again. Delicious mojito! My husband loved the expresso and garbanzo bean soup.
This restaurant offers a fantastic variety of authentic Cuban dishes. The Ropa Vieja plate and Bistec de Casa are both excellent choices. The staff is professional and polite.
