Salmon teriyaki was honestly pretty awful. I appreciate the friendly service and complimentary egg drop soup! However, I ordered the salmon teriyaki plate (which was 18.99 ****!! , really wish I had just gotten tofu. But the salmon had to be some of the driest salmon i've ever had in my life. It tasted fishy too so I assume it was frozen and then they grilled it. They definitely over grilled it and resulted in bland dry salmon. So sad, it was basically inedible. The salad was super good and the rice was soft and the teriyaki was delicious. But I paid $19 for the worst salmon I've ever had :
Just ordered from here through Uber eats. Uber Eats makes it nearly impossible to review/rate them, so here we are at the restaurant. I don't feel horrible about that because we ordered very simple meals. Two chicken teriyaki plates (thigh because breast is almost $3more plus we prefer thigh) one was a one level spicy and the other a 3, plus an extra order of chicken. We didn't get the extra chicken and they were both a 3 level spicy AND the chicken breast that was so dry you could hardly choke it down. Very disappointed.
Ichi is a pretty big chain of restaurants in the Vancouver, WA metro area; however, I have never been entirely impressed with their food. They used to be more on the affordable side, but have been raising their prices lately. Their food is good if you have nothing else to eat, and honestly, some days it's prepared better than others. Unfortunately, I do think that there are better teriyaki and Japanese restaurants all over town. Service has always been nice and quick for me, though.
Ichi 16 is the best teriyaki in the pacific Northwest! Everything we have ordered here has been fantastic! The kimchi is very spicy and even the mild has a good kick. Best ever FREE egg flower soup when you dine in! Enough already, go eat there now!!!
Love all the Ichis! Came in here Thursday 3/16, the salad rolls were so fat and the shrimp tasted fresh. The counter girl was so nice and did her job really well. Everything else was delish as usual. I also LOVE the music they play at this location!!
Honestly, a 10 out of 10. The service was awesome, guy at the counter was so friendly. Huge portions and packed with so much flavor! Plus they offer a super good free egg flour soup when dining in. One of our new favorite places!
I ordered bibimbap because I love Korean side dishes but what I have got is just rice topped with fresh veggies, uncooked egg, and dry grilled meat.Disappointed! 1 star for service.
Everything Ive tried there I love. Grilled chicken, fried rice? Shrimp, chicken or pork! Hubs gets kalbi ribs or beef teriyaki. Awesome. Kinda pricey but worth it.
Super consistent on quality of food! Also, we dined in and were handed awesome real forks (heavy), I was so impressed!
