Javier is the best server my family and I have ever had, and he is one of the biggest reasons we are looking forward to coming back. He works so hard, speaks great Chinese, walks around quickly and has the best suggestions for which dishes are most popular in the combination section of the menu. He smiles with his eyes and is perfectly professional. Amazing items are the salmon collar, lamb kebabs, sashimi, and bean curd! Again, thank you so much Javier!
This place got panned in some previous review for not being authentic. It's true, it's not a Japanese authentic restaurant, but it is excellent in terms of its Taiwanese ownership. The slices of fish are thick, fresh and delicious... None of these thin slivers common in authentic Japanese Sashimi plates. We had shrimp sashimi, as fresh as can be. The decor is gorgeous, dramatic and striking. Service is excellent. All of us enjoyed ourselves immensely.
Great service. The servers were very attentive and explained their sets very well. I had the sashimi wazen which has a huge portion. The sashimi were very thick cuts, i love a little bit of everything and the sause pairing they did on the white fishwas pretty good. Tempura was amazing with the savory dipping sause. The chawanmushi has quite some clams and fish cakes thoughpersonally I'm not a big fan of that.
The service is friendly, and the staff member patiently suggests a selection of fresh seafood. The seafood is exceptionally fresh and definitely worth a taste.
