Okay so this love story began with going to my local deli for an egg sandwich and seeing a sign saying that they were closed. I don't love any other egg sandwiches in my area so I turned to grub hub to see if I can find something worth delivering and I stumbled upon J Gs Delicatessen. Now at first I was hesitant because it is around 15 minutes from me, plus its eggs but I still gave it a try. And in return I received one of, if not the best, egg sandwiches I have ever had. Perfectly cooked delicious bacon, and crispy hash brown and cheese on both sides on the roll! Absolute perfection and I can not wait to try more things from this deli.
This deli is an absolute gem! I’m so glad I discovered it. I was really impressed by the Italian Stallion sandwich and couldn’t resist going back. I tried the chicken ball sandwich next, and it was just as fantastic. The prices are reasonable, the sandwich selection is extensive, and the portions are generous. Unlike other delis, they don’t skimp on the meat. The staff is friendly, and I’ll definitely be back soon!
1st time to go to this amazing Deli! I ordered a delicious pastrami sandwich. I can say that this is the best pastrami sandwich I ever tasted. I really didn’t want it to finish. They have many food selections. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The place is clean and smells great. Everything was perfect. I will definitely be a loyal customer.
J G's is undoubtedly one of the best delis on Long Island. The staff is incredibly friendly and courteous, making you feel like part of the family. Their sandwiches are simply the best, which is why I always choose to order from them. I've sampled most of the sandwiches on their menu, and I've loved every one of them.

1st timer. Food was hot and fresh and full of flavor with great portions. This place has it all. Staff is friendly and place is well kept. You have to try it and you’ll be a customer forever. I know I am now. Great food and great service can’t beat that.
Excellent service, really superb subs, and they deliver! My company was conducting an estate sale in Wantagh and the sales team wanted subs. This deli gave us 5 star service plus delicious food.
Thanksgiving came early for me Gobble Gobble! J&G makes their own fresh turkey but shhhhhhh don't tell too many people it goes fast folks!
This deli is quite good. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but that's common for delis. I'm looking forward to visiting again!
