You might not expect it based on the location, but this restaurant serves some truly fantastic food. I ordered the French dip with all the toppings (which includes sautéed onions and peppers—highly recommended) on ciabatta bread. The bread was light and soft, with a slight crispiness on the outside, which I loved. The meat had just the right amount of saltiness, and the gooey cheese complemented it perfectly. Dipping it in the Au Jus added great flavor without being overwhelming. The fries were battered and fried, which is my favorite style. The food was good, but the service was terrible, yes we went in close to closing time but does that mean that service goes out the window? I think not, we had to ask for drink refills and were asked 3 or 4 times to settle the check before we were done eating.... Does this mean there was nothing else to do besides harrass us to settle a check? Try sweeping/mopping the floor clean the grill etc. Was VERY UNIMPRESSED with the customer service at this establishment and will NOT repeat NOT be back!!!!!
Amazing food! The French fries are the best I've ever had—truly one-of-a-kind. They use high-quality ingredients, and the home cooking is outstanding. I tried the hamburger, and it was fantastic. I've also enjoyed breakfast there, which was equally wonderful. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere in this charming small town is delightful. What a hidden gem!
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at JoMae's. Our waitress was absolutely lovely, and the food was outstanding. While we particularly liked Austin's cooking, it was for entirely different reasons. We'll definitely return when he's in the kitchen. The drive from Syracuse is more than worth it!

Delicious food, excellent service, and wonderful staff! If you're feeling hungry, you should definitely dine here—it's worth the trip. They also offer fantastic pies and cinnamon rolls. It surpasses all the other fast food options nearby.
