Did you know that La Baia Cucina now do breakfast and brunch till 3pm? I visited this restaurant on their first day doing breakfast and I just say that the food and my 2 coffees were amazing!! This restaurant does fusion food with an Italian twist.I tried a rolled omelette on brioche w house made chilli jam, wilted spinach, Swiss cheese, braised mushrooms, house roma tomato relish and crispy bacon.OMGosh this was hands down THE best brekkie burger that I’ve ever had. omg. da parma is in the Australian kochheirachy king, so for me at least every court quattro formaggi is the imperial of the Italian cuisine. Food was lovely, very fresh, excellent produce with some of the dishes well and truly exceeding expectations such as the two entree's scallops with bacon and eggplant with ricotta. Unfortunately the service times were rather slow, and inside the restaurant it was rather cold (not sure if the heating was even on I suspect and hope this is just symptomatic of a restaurant coming out of a covid lock-down and running with minimal kitchen staffing, but 45mins for first course; 30 mins for main and 20 mins for dessert was a bit long on wait times.

Given my experience in dining with very up market restaurants, I feel I would be understating this restaurant if I didn't give it my highest recommendation. The food, service and ambience is commendable and I would encourage any one who is a lover of food to visit because if you do, you will come back. Nice and tasty food and cocktail options, albeit a little bit on the expensive side with the cocktails. The staff were polite and attentive. I must mention that the rest room was impeccably clean which is a great indicator of staff and customer hygiene being a priority which is paramount for me. A

Came for dinner using the current 30% off offer on the fork. We ordered and shared the beef cheek lasagna, four cheese gnocchi and finished with the Italian donuts. Everything was delicious.
