I discovered this coffee shop while spending a week at the Eaton DC, and it quickly became my favorite experience of the trip. While the seating area is a bit limited, if you manage to grab a seat, you'll appreciate the fantastic industrial decor and the walls adorned with numerous alley murals. If you're in the neighborhood, I highly recommend taking a stroll through the alleys to locate this gem. Additionally, for those who appreciate privacy, there are two well-maintained bathrooms available.
This café serves some of the best coffee we've had in DC. The draft coffee is incredibly smooth and creamy, with a delightful aroma that's truly enjoyable. Typically, I prefer my coffee to be stronger and bolder, but this was a pleasant experience nonetheless. Finding the café can be a bit tricky, as it’s tucked away down a small alley. I will definitely return for another cup before I leave. Plus, the artwork adorning the walls outside the café is an added bonus.
A charming little spot hidden in the alleyways of DC. We ordered two drip coffees and a latte, which came to around $20. The drip coffee was a bit sour and not the best, but the latte was quite good! There’s no Wi-Fi, so it may not be the best choice if you’re traveling internationally and don’t have service, but it’s a perfect place to enjoy a book, journal, or have a conversation. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms are clean.
A bit hidden but worth stopping in if you can wind your way into the alley to find it. Friendly staff with quick service and delicious drinks and pastries.
