I was back in DC visiting old friends for the first time in years and I was super excited to see that La Colombe now has a location in Chinatown. This shop is located kind of in the no-mans-land of Mass Ave but there are a few apartments buildings around so I imagine it gets a lot of foot traffic during the day. This place has the usual selection of fantastic La Colombe drinks and sweets. Try their iced latte or a cold brew can! I love the way they have built this store into the surrounding aesthetic. Love to see Philly brands expanding into this area. Check it out a support a (semi) local business!
La Colombe is an excellent spot for a quality cup of coffee in the Chinatown neighborhood. During my recent trip to DC, I visited this location multiple times. The baristas were consistently friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed the Oatmilk Draft Latte, as well as the light roast drip coffee. The only drawback was the pastries; they are not made on-site but rather delivered each morning. I sampled a few, but they didn't taste very fresh. So, if you visit, I recommend sticking to the coffee options since La Colombe is a fantastic place to satisfy your coffee cravings!
I tried a drop latte for the first time, and as a coffee enthusiast, I must say it was an incredible experience that I want to have again. It reminds me of coffee-infused whipped cream—thick, smooth, and frothy before you reach the delicious liquid. The ambiance is also very relaxed. If you're trying to decide between this coffee shop and a chain like Starbucks, don't hesitate—definitely choose this place!
Stayed in The Hampton Inn ConventionCenter location across the street but wanted something much better than their free hotel coffee. La Colombe is steps out the door and has really good coffee. Great place, good location. Lots of light from windows, skylight, and mirror. Got a mocha because they were prepping a new batch of their chai on draft and I didn't want to wait, but my friend got the chai and said it was delicious. I'll go back for it for sure. No wifi, so maybe not a great option for working, but good spot to meet a friend.
The staff members were very friendly and pleasant. The iced latte was decent, but they only offered small cup sizes. The location of the café is great and it was very clean as well. However, they don’t provide Wi-Fi, so be sure to bring your own hotspot. A small iced latte costs $5.77.
Great coffee, hard to find a parking spot though. Since we were visiting DC area and we are always on a look out for good coffee, this is definitely one of our best coffee shops so far. Highly recommend, unfortunately they don't have indoor seating, so be ready for take out.

Their cold brew has a unique brightness to it that I haven't noticed elsewhere! If you like slightly fruity and bright notes in your coffee, or if you're just looking to try something new, I doubt you'll be disappointed!
