La Table du Sommelier

I enjoy supporting small local restaurants, where you get to know something of the host/hostess and the source of the regional foods. At Table du Sommelier, there is no connection. One may have interactions with 5 or more bodies but there is no connection! Again I have to ask why the ear bud connections to the kitchen this is not a place for the secret service. Not one of those five enquired how we enjoyed our servings. While the meat was not too tough to enjoy this time, my serving of braised in red wine beef had an absence of flavours and I ate less than half the serving. We gave this location a 3rd try only because so many of the good quality restaurants in Albi were closed, so the owners...

Michelin is a good guide and seldom gets things wrong. This is a good advert for their judgement. A little formal In service, a little more expensive and with excellent presentation. The cooking in all dishes was competent and all courses were enjoyed but all without a wow factor. The Galliac wines were good, both the red and the white and reasonably priced so a very pleasant restaurant experience. The service was exemplary and I d return if the opportunity arises.

Our whole evening was absolutely perfect. Service was impeccable! The staff watched our table to see when we were ready for a dish and then communicated to the kitchen through unobtrusive headsets. Every dish was delicious and stunning, from the entree to the dessert. If they were open tonight (Sunday) we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Friendly host, speaks English. Nice ambiance. Great food. Soft jazz. Menu or a La carte. Can mix and match. Can eat indoors or out.

An amazing meal and superb value! Accommodated me as a vegetarian with good grace and stunning food. Highly recommended
