We stayed at the Hotel and had free breakfast as part of our booking, but we only went for breakfast once and are regretting not going more often. We loved the available range of food. The fruit juicers were the best, though I think I...need more practice putting enough fruit and veggies in. The mini-croissants were a perfect size and once of the best we had in Melbourne. I also had two poached eggs and I added about the same amount of delicious hollandaise sauce to the horror of all onlookers. Best hollandaise with poached eggs ever! Decided on a breakfast here on a Saturday, there were 5 of us in our group and booked a table for 8.30. Very slow to re plenish some dishes. The egg station was a total waste of time so slow. There was a large selection but what's the point if it's half empty. The dining room was full and the whole set up is a bit of a debacle. To get to the food you have to waive your way through the crowd of people lining up to get in. For the price the Langham charges for the buffet breakfast this is not good enough. Our coffee was cold and undesirable. In fact this is one of the worst breakfasts we have ever had in a top hotel. The only reason we gave it 3 stars is the staff were very nice and accomodati...
after a 3-year break because of Covid-19 it was great to be back in the langham and celebrate the melbourne cup with friends. eating was sensational, with the usual wide choice of seafood to roast, Indian cuisine and so much more, not to the sinful dessert selection. this year the TV screens remained until after the conclusion of all races, an improvement at our last visit. our only disappointment was that the venue was not as full as usual and therefore lacked a little atmosphere. this could be due to the requirement to pay in full in booking with a no refund policy this year. hopefully this is reviewed and next year a whole house can enjoy this wonderful opportunity.
El restaurante se encuentra en el Langham Hotel, en el cual nos alojamos. Ofrece cena a la carta y buffet. Cenamos a la carta, ya que parecia mejor opcion, la comida no esta a la altura de lo que se espera de un hotel de esta calidad, la carne bien, pero el plato de pescado, pedi barramundi, era muy escaso. El plato de linguine con calamar etc.. eran espaguetis con tomate sin mas. El desayuno del hotel se sirve en este restaurante, y aunque a primera vista parece estupendo, la calidad y variedad no estan acorde a la categoria del hotel. Dias antes estuve en el hotel Langham de Sydney, y eso si es calidad.

magnificent experience with the most wonderful food, huge range and cooked to your liking. Fresh, and displayed in the most convenient way. Staff very professional, yet not over bearing like many five star restaurants. Went the extra mile with personalized card and small gift for the birthday guest.
Oh My God the food is amazing. Buffet style, seafood is delicious, the duck pancakes a must have and the desserts are to die for. Service was exceptional and the birthday girl was made to feel very special
