RUINED my sons Baptism party. Please read all details and think twice about holding an event here. We had my sons Baptism here recently and prior to this we met with the owner of the restaurant to plan for the day so everything would run smoothly. We had about 36 people plus children. Upon getting there, they couldn?t even light my candles, pick up the balloons that had fallen as decoration. We had an open bar, people were getting charged drinks! We had to ask 20 times for drinks to the point people were going and grabbing their own water/ pop, because no one was at the bar. No water was refilled at the table. People received NON ALCOHOLIC beer for an open bar I was paying for! The food took...
I recently tried this restaurant after many of my friends recommended it, particularly the chicken. Unfortunately, the only reason I'm giving it one star is because the sauce used for the chicken was excessively salty. As for the rice, I'm not sure how it's traditionally prepared in Portugal, but I found it lacking. The potatoes were just sitting in oil, which didn’t appeal to me. I've sampled a variety of Portuguese foods, but this experience was disappointing. I can't understand how this place received 4.5 stars; the food certainly didn’t deserve such a high rating. While the prices were reasonable — we ordered four drinks and two large takeout meals — I ended up having to throw the food...
absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful and elegant. its such a great place for a dinner date or a family gathering or special occasion you want to celebrate its perfect. its romantic and just overall beautiful for sure worth it for a gorgeous night with your partner or family
The food from the Minho region is excellent! I really enjoyed my meal, and the staff provided great service. The flavors are delicious, and the ambiance of the place is lovely. If you like Portuguese cuisine, this is definitely a place to visit!
This is my ?go to? Portuguese restaurant. The food is definitely great, especially the Portuguese grilled chicken which is the absolute best. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. I will be back soon!
Do not even remember that this is a five-star place, just because the food from this world is you have a truly authentic Portuguese experience as authentic as possible in Toronto area
The atmosphere was fantastic! Staff were so attentive and made our experience fantastic. The food made us feel like it was home cooked and made with love. We will for sure return.
