We hadn’t visited this restaurant in years, but we definitely won’t make that mistake again! We kicked off our meal with a delightful feast. I had the chicken fetters, which tasted incredibly authentic. One of my companions ordered the surf and turf, which was both reasonably priced and served in a generous portion, cooked to perfection. We finished off with coconut cake and warm cannoli. Everything was simply perfect. The staff were exceptionally friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the food was wonderful. We’re definitely coming back! This Des Moines classic sets the standard high.
If you're looking for fantastic Italian cuisine and pizza, be sure to visit Noah's! The charming vintage decor really brings you back in time. While waiting for a table, you can watch the pizza crust being made by hand, which is a treat in itself. We couldn't resist trying a pizza, and we were blown away by the crust—crispy and generously topped. Their red sauce is exceptional! For appetizers, we went with cheese sticks and ravioli, both of which were homemade and absolutely delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend this place—it's a solid 10/10!
I had dinner there on February 10 for a birthday celebration, and the food was outstanding. We enjoyed onion rings, a variety of pastas, a meatball sandwich, and dessert. However, there were a couple of instances where our server cleared the plates too early, and we had to remind him that we were still eating. We got married and had dinner here 30 years ago, went there this weekend and had the beef filet, side of spaghetti, house salad and dressing, great rolls and butter! It had been a while since my husband and I dined here. The waitress was fantastic—she was very attentive and ensured our meals were just as we wanted them. Unfortunately, my husband wanted cheesecake but they were out, which was disappointing for him. Aside from that, our overall experience was wonderful, and we look forward to returning soon!
The service at Noah's Ark is exceptional. The staff is very friendly and always prompt with refills! If you're a pasta lover, this place is a must-visit. We tried the baked ravioli, garlic cheese bread, and a house salad, and everything was excellent—served hot and in no time! Plus, their lemon cake is absolutely heavenly!
I'd say Noah's was best average. I have a red snapper. It was dry and my waitress didn't bring any baked potato that came with it. I had to ask her, and the salad was only iceberg salad and it wasn't very good at all, and they didn't even contain rolls as they were earlier, so I probably wouldn't go back.
