Took the kids and grandma for lunch one Saturday afternoon after a soccer game. I've heard lots of great things about this place, so I was really looking forward to it.Servers were dressed in 1950s diner clothes to make it seem like you're in an old diner. It does have a nostalgic feel to it.Food was quite expensive for what you get, in my opinion. Ordered 2 hot dog meals, fish & chips, and a kids meal. We also added one shake and a float to the order. (The server was kind enough to suggest two people share a shake, and there was plenty for 2 people.) Our lunch order came to $64.40! Nothing about that lunch was worth the price we paid. Over priced for the value of food...Cadillac burger was $17.00 ...had the ring of fire burger...$15.00 ..the only diff was onion ring on the $17.00 burger....had a blue moon drink...$4.00 thought it was a blue moon BEER....tasted like Gatorade.. No real booze taste....had. $4.00 Pilsner...good price for the bottle...had the SHERIFF sandwich...good BUT SLOPPY...waiter es said everything here is sloppy...$16.00 with 6 good onion rings...total bill $48.00 with taxes....should go to MONATANAS instead...when there when it first opened...had the burger and instead of fries which are good to ok....asked if Icould have onion rings...SURE she said.....they were good.....then when Igot the bill Iseen...
My usual Crew of three popped in after work on ahot evening. Its located in a quiet suburb of saskatoon yet close to everywhere in a residential neighbourhood Parking was available adjacent to the diner. We were seated immediately and served with chilled water while we contemplated the menuThere wall had pictures of great actors from the black and white movie era and tags from cars registered in saskatchewan from way backServers mainly were dressed in pompom shirts and Mary Janes though some had jeansI ordered a steak which was right to my specifications with fries. I've been to Pink Cadillacs between 5-10 times and I highly recommend it. The burgers are great and I think it's fantastic that they offer kids meals for $3.50 A few days a week. I'm not a big steak person but my company said the steak was also very good.The only suggestion I would make is to let people know they can make little changes to the burgers on menu. My favourite is to order the the Danny Zuko but to pass on the back bacon or swap it for regular bacon.I've always found the service to be outstanding and I've had the owner come to my table to check in personally on 3 separate occasions which to me speaks volumes. This is a very unique restaurant with the inside décor which was very nice and appealing. The entire layout of the restaurant was excellent and allowed our group of seven to sit together. The menu choice was large with a good selection for everyone.The waitress was very friendly and efficient and especially cordial. The food quality was absolutely excellent and well prepared. This restaurant is off the beaten path but easy to find as we live in the city. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Our neighborhood has been sorely lacking in breakfast choices (well frankly, in most dining choices!) but Pink Cadillacs Diner has successfully filled some of the void. We always forget about it...tucked away in it's little corner...but thankfully we finally made it there. Breakfast (eggs, toast, homemade fried potatoes) for $7? Great deal! Erin our server was so wonderful as well. We will definitely be back :)
Pink Cadillacs definitely brings you back in time to the old diner feel complete with famous people on the walls, a jukebox and even a small Pink Cadillac car. The food is great, and the milkshakes are even better. The staff are also super friendly, waiting to help you out with a smile on their faces. A very good family-friendly restaurant. Would certainly go back again!!
Never been before. Looking for something different. The food was great. I'm a picky eater but there were so many good items in the menu had a hard time choosing. We stopped here for a late lunch with the family after recommended from a friend. Loved the 50's décor and vibe, such a gem of a place. All the food was delicious!!
