Lovely outdoor courtyard setting and looking at the menu we could see it was pretty standard fare. Service was very slow and not that friendly but the waitress was serving the entire busy restaurant by herself. The wage cost ratios for the business must be near zero so big ups for that. Don 't go there if you want a high level of service but as Jerome Jerome famously once wrote 'I love work, I can watch it for hours and hours ' watching the poor girl 's work ethic was definitely the highlight of the visit.
The food was not very tasty. My husband had a pizza and it was very blend. I ordered the pasta with ham and tomatoes and it came with 2 slices of cold ham and some caned mushrooms and tomatoes. The food could have been much better. It didn't seems like they used spices or herbs... For Provence very unusual.
Needed a break from fois gras and French cuisine and happened on this pizza place. Nice thin crust and good inventive pizzas, large salads and tasty pasta. We were there during euro 2016, and our server was amazing, she could probably power Saint Emilion. Good draft and food, comfort food.
We’ve been to St Emillion three times and each time visited this restaurant because the pizza is excellent (thin, crispy base and very generous toppings) and the service is friendly and efficient. Reasonably priced too, so what more can you ask for?

My family and I had a very enjoyable meal here during our 3 day stay near Saint Emilion. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, the food especially the pizzas were delicious and hence it was a very relaxed and fun meal. Many thanks
Nice sitting outside. We had a starter and a pizza, the waiter recommended us a good bottle of wine. We specifically asked to have some time between the dishes and they did well. Pizza was good quality. The service was great.
If you want a meal that isn't that French, just one, then head on down. Great service even when it was pretty busy, food quick and simple. Great for families or meeting with friends. Rosè was very drinkable, food very nice.
Average enough pizzeria, service was a bit slow and indifferent, and well the pizza was below par. If it wasnt for the beautiful surrounding of Saint Emilion i would suspect it would only get 2 stars..

Quality of food not good. Eat a traditional « salade landaise » and a « tuna tartare » and were not good. People of restaurant are kind and environment is good with the Fontaine.
