I want to apologize if I somehow got undercharged and caused a problem for someone; I believe we ordered five fajita bistec tacos, five pastor trompo tacos, and two gringas. At one point, I was asked if I wanted a drink, and I said no, only for my mom to grab a strawberry Joya afterward. I thought the total should have been $26, not $23.
To be as honest as possible, we arrived around 9:40 PM. The taco shop wasn’t too busy, but I was pleasantly surprised by the number of people still hanging out. It felt comforting, with about 2-3 families and a group of 12 enjoying the atmosphere. I loved the vibe; it reminded me of my roots. There were some uncles just chilling and smoking by the trash can...
Went last night the line was long but it moves a bit quick. The staff was friendly but honestly I've had better tacos at other places. I ordered tacos de tripa and they were extremely over cooked, made it hard to chew on. Also ordered tacos al pastor, they were ok. My other order was tacos de bistec and they were the only ones that had a good taste to them. The salsas were disappointing, not much flavor to them and very watered down. Would I try this place again..... Probably yes but I'd try something else of the menue. Hope they make better salsas and cook some of the meat better.
This is a fantastic spot for tacos al pastor trompo. Be prepared for a line on Fridays and Saturdays, but trust me, it's worth the wait. They serve Joya, which makes this place even more authentic. As someone from the border, I can say their tacos are way better than finding Jarritos and hard tacos elsewhere. It is a cash-only establishment, and their salsas are absolutely on point.
This place opens on the weekends only night I believe the line gets LONG fast!They serve up the tacos very fast so ppl don't mind standing in line.I've had WAY BETTER tacos hole in the wall taco trucks.Idk what the hype is all about,I went with friends that were trying to impress me?I'll have to turn them down next time

I’ve visited this restaurant three times and tried the entire menu. The tacos are good, but they didn't meet my expectations. The tripa was particularly disappointing and not acceptable at all. The rest of the menu is decent, but overall, it doesn't come close to being the best.
Tacos were mid. They should increase the price and include more meat. The tortilla were raw and soggy, salsa were water down. Only good part of this was the soda. Extreme let down.
This is the best place, and the only one left, where you can still get dollar tacos. The tacos are consistently fantastic, but finding parking can be a challenge.
The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was outstanding!
