The owner, Dawn McNulty doesn’t seem the least bit concerned about the safety of their employees. Homeless people are constantly coming into the property and harassing and physically assaulting managers and guests. This business has been opened for decades and I have never seen a proper security guard on site. How is it that a place like King Taco can have a guard but Shakey’s relies on the women running that establishment. It’s embarrassing that this is even an issue and the owner should be ashamed that employees are constantly being put at risk.
The team was really struggling on this day. I saw the two pick-up orders before mine tossed in the trash and have to be redone because the kids were not following instructions. I didn't have the energy to complain about my pizza which was obviously made as pepperoni then when they realized it was meat lovers they through all the meat at the last minute it wasn't cooked to the same temperature as the pizza and rolled around loose like gravel... I hope they get it together it's been almost a historic landmark. The arcade was cute!
Just when I thought I found the worst shakeys a month ago I came to this one. Staff is incompetent beyond your imagination. Rude as hell, look man you don't like your job quit. Don't make everyone else's day shitty because you hate your job. On a side not go to this shakeys 1880 N Hacienda Blvd, La Puente, CA 91744 Clean super nice friendly!! I will never visit El Monte again. Take that address and throw it in your nav and thank me later
I would not have a complain if it wasn't for the manager. I'm not sure of her name but she has purple hair. She looked frustrated and did not make us feel welcome at all. She kept giving the other employees a hard time. I would have left a one star if it wasn't for the other employees.
there are no healthy options at all, but if they want to get pizza, boneless, beer and arcade games for the children, it is an option. the food quality and taste varies from one day to another, so they could have luck and get something delicious or a bad day quite bad.
Excellent food service... with a few minor touch ups, it'll be the best ideal family fun place in town... the food is hands down delicious. Thanks to Owner. Manager, cook, and staff. Super Awsome Job.
they are great! they do everything from ground up and use the freshest ingredients. I never know that there is such a juwel near my work: . and their crispy roasted disc potatoes should die!
great place to celebrate the birthday of a beloved! we had a great meeting to celebrate my father's birthday! the atmosphere is great from small to oldest it is a place for everyone!
The pizza chicken and mojo takes me back to my childhood. But it bothers me that it so expensive.
