I have had quite a few lovely takeaways from Skewers and have put on glowing reviews. Heard it was under new management but hoped the quality and service would still be as good. They weren’t. Firstly it took an hour and a half for my meal to arrive even though the website “tracking” was saying my meal had been delivered for the last 20 minutes of that time. When it arrived the bags were wet on the bottom and I was warned to hold them underneath so the food wouldn’t fall out. On looking the bag with the salads in looked as if it already had fallen out. I knew I shouldn’t have bothered after problems with my order in the past but fancied a kebab and thought that by now they would have got their act together. But no. I ordered 2 kebabs, 1 chips, 1 potato wedges, 2 burger sauce and 1 chilli sauce and a salad. What I received was 2 boxes of meat to put inside 2 pitta breads that you couldn’t tear apart, 1 portion of chips that were barely edible, 1 chilli sauce and some hot curry like sauce. The salad was ok. I phoned and was put on hold several times, wedges were apparently off the menu but they hadn’t had time to take them off the app. They reckoned the chips were a double portion (they were not) and human error not sending the burger sauce....
We placed our food order at 7:07 pm, but by 8:20 pm our food still had not arrived. When we called, we were told that our order had not even left yet and would be the next one out, and to wait another 15 minutes. We continued to wait while the kids became increasingly hungry. Finally, at 8:45 pm, we called again and were informed that the food was on its way. By that point, we had already fed the kids. The LARGE chicken wrap we ordered only had 3 small, hard pieces of chicken and watery mayonnaise. Decided to give these guys another try, after previously having bad service on the delivery times. I ordered our food at 19.35 and it said delivery in 60 minutes, I called them up at 20.42 to be told food still hadn't left and that mine was next to leave and would be delivered in 20 minutes, I had to call again at 21.10 to be informed that my food still hadn't left and was still next to leave. Food finally arrived at 21.45, over 2 hours after I ordered it. This is totally unacceptable and very poor service. This is now 3 times your delivery has been shocking and I will definitely not be using you again. It's such a shame, as the food is a good quality and always hot.

Placed an order and waited an hour and a half until I had to chase it. Order finally arrived 2 hours later and it was completely wrong. Mixed shish was just a handful of lamb donar on chips and chicken wings were replaced with Mozarella sticks. Called back to advise and just got told it was the drivers fault and no offer of a refund for the difference in what I ordered and what was delivered. If that wasn't bad enough the food was sub standard and had to be binned. Stay well away!
The service was honestly ridiculous! I ordered my food and three hours later I never received it. Currently trying to get my money back. Spoke with the staff three times and I was advised that it would get sorted and by the end of the night I never received anything. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone honestly disgraceful!.not worth anyone’s time.
I believe this was the worst doner kebab I have ever had. It was extremely tough and could not be eaten. When I called to complain, they offered me a free kebab next time, but I do not live in the area and am only staying for one night, so it wasn't very helpful.
we had a nice meal and daniella was our server, she was so helpful and happy. the food was nice, all well cooked and came nice and hot! daniella could not do enough for us and we will definitely return!

The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious with great flavor and generous portions of meat. The chili sauce was also very tasty. I will definitely be coming back for more.
