Great service and super friendly, and the food was really good.We went around 1pm on a weekday so it was quiet, but the takeout orders were booming! We also had a sleepy baby with us so we didn'tWe got the lunch specials: chicken Pad Thai (big serving, recommend sharing), Beef Panang Curry, and Masamun Beef Curry. We definitely had leftovers after but it was all so good, it was hard to stop. The curry specials come with a bowl of rice and a spring roll.Staff was super friendly; greeted our son and when he fell asleep, approached us quietly with each interaction.
The fried rice was decent, but it's best to steer clear of the squid. The batter on the squid was too thick, and it was hard to taste the squid itself. The service was slow, likely due to having only one waitress. Not recommended for a quick lunch. The bill for two people came to $53, which was pricey for the quality of the food. I didn't feel inclined to take photos, and didn't have time anyway. The rating of 4.6 out of 5 seems questionable, likely from those unfamiliar with authentic Asian cuisine.
Ate at Talay Thai recently we were very happy with the quality, quantity price $13) of the cashew chicken the green curry chicken, which included a spring roll with each dish. The service was very prompt attentive. That the curries are crafted on site is obvious in the delicious taste of the food on par with any we’ve had. The atmosphere is very appealing, with an obvious attention to providing a clean environment. Will most definitely eat here again.
So close to being in Thailand. The food here was spectacular, we ordered the Tom Ka Gai. It was reminiscent of being in Thailand, all this dish needs is Chili Oil. We also ordered the red curry, it was delicious. We have traveled over 5700 kms to be in Nova Scotia, this was an absolute delight. We will have a meal again before we go home.
The service at this restaurant is quick and the food is delicious. The chicken red curry is extremely flavorful and indulgent. The pad thai has a perfect mix of sweetness and savory flavors. They also offer a variety of great vegetarian and vegan dishes, such as pad thai, curries, and stir-frys.
This Thai restaurant in Downtown Halifax is delightful. The food is truly impressive, especially the mango salad and prawn green curry. Despite its modest appearance, the restaurant serves incredibly delicious dishes. I have been twice already and can't wait to go back again.
Overall food and experience was good…Highlight was soup delicious and masaman curry and Thai fried rice tasted good as well….Spring Roll is MINUS so oily and had a weird smell of oil Looks like they reused oil so many times and fried spring rolls in the same
Very generic, and somewhat greasy, Thai-ish food.The fresh spring rolls were good. The ginger tofu and pad Thai were meh. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. But I won't be back.
