So Halifax is pampered for vegan donuts. If this was the only place that served vegan donuts, I would be regular. But... it's my second favorite donut shop on Gottingen. Vandal has a great taste, but I often find her donuts greasy and the store is badly designed and often crowded – I think they are a victim of their own success. I'm still swinging by sometimes, and I'm never gonna turn a donut down when someone from Vandal offers me. They usually have a few different vegan flavors (check their Instagram for what they have every day). Worth a visit, but I usually go down a few blocks. When I searched for extraordinary donuts, my sister brought me to Vandal Doughnuts. I was a little doubtful from the outside, but once we got in, I knew this was what I was looking for. They have an excellent selection of delicious beautiful donuts and I knew that I did not escape without a dozen of these dough rings of perfection. Among classic flavors they also have many unique aromas such as SKOR, Oreo, beautiful Hurricane and Rainbow. They're all fresh and I wasn't disappointed by any of them. I'll hit her again the next time.
Custom donuts for my friends baby shower ordered. Did not have many instructions except a general color scheme and what it was, and they did not disappoint! Everyone at the event talked about how beautiful the Donuts were and could not resist trying. Taste was of course the best donut I ever had... At least what the other guests said. Can't thank Vandal enough! So thankful!... Oh, I mentioned they flew in some extras too!
Small place, but great friendly staff. Had the Rootbeer float; whipped with cherry Rootbeer choc sprinkle nice but I would like to have the flavor thou out the donut, ate the rest I think they need to change the oil after taste at end and very dry. This place is not wheelchair accessible, but one step(whide) and tiny bump in doorway accessible if you can put walker and step up or cane. Must try!
Absolutely loved my experience with Vandal Doughnuts! Customer service was spectacular and there were 6 types of vegans to choose from simple flavors to more complicated/exciting. I caught Harbour Fog, Boston Cream Strawberry Rhubarb Pie and I wasn't disappointed
Heard great things and wasn't let down. Not too too much of a selection, but enough that I had a hard enough time deciding. Went with the mango peach doughnut and was happy with my choice. Delicious!
They had 3 vegan options (belief frit, boob cream and wrinkles) and they were all DELICIOUS! Good, proper yeast and chewing doughnut. The Boston cream was amazing!
I had a lot of doughnuts, but the best doughnut I ever had here. The banana cream cake is dead. Very nice people behind the counter. Very good service.
Beautiful selection of rotating vegan donuts but often really busy and they are sold out quickly. But the flavors I tried were all delicious!
