Booked for special meal for friends who had travelled 60 miles. Not open at 1.00 for 1.15 booking and was told no food today. I had a confirmed booking which I showed I had a confirmation. Left very unhappy. Will never go again. Tried to speak to someone later on phone. I left 2 messages but ignored. What a way to run a business!!. One really angry person.
canal turn, carnforth, beautiful environment on the river with a series of wild life. the swans with their 8 cygnets. very good reception by laura, very attentive and professional. tell us the daily specialties and only a court not available. it didn't matter how the steak was fantastic. will definitely return and try the sun roast.

I have visited this restaurant before and the service was excellent with a full menu available. However, on this occasion, the menu was limited and the bar staff forgot to bring our drinks order.
