We started with drinks in the beautiful sunshine outside the Club on busy Bridge Road then moved inside for the meal. The menu began with Samosas,Tandoori mushrooms and mixed plate Tandoori. We shared 4 superb mains which included lamb, chicken and beef. Sideplates were rice and Aloo mutter (patato filled bread). Service was excellent and ambience was soft and comfortable. The food swerved was mild although some might find it fairly spicy. We drank Kingfisher beer, a lovely Grenache with the mains, and Mango lassi. Unfortunately they don't do expresso coffee...but there are plenty of other nearby places In Bridge Road that do!!
I have been to the Curry Club many times. The change of management seems to have improved the food. In the old days, it was a bit hit ans miss, though on balance, good.. The new management seem to have taken their reputation for somewhat indifferent food to heart and the food has really improved. By the way mango lassi goes down great with hot curry. I prefer it to beer..
We had samosa. The pastry was beautiful and the filling fills the casing. One of the best samosas tasted. Also had fish tikka and chicken.Also the fish and prawn curries were delicious. The naan bread and rice goes very well with the curries. try the pistachio ice-cream.Good serves.Would come back again for Indian food.
I visited with a friend for an 8 course voucher dinner meal. Neither of us had been to this location. The food was good but basically small tasting plates. The wait staff was friendly. The place was very open and a bit cold for the winter months. I am not sure if I would return but glad to have tried once.

Brought a Groupon voucher, was a nice meal, average size meals though, probably just worth the value you pay for the voucher. Won't be rushing back, but I would visit again as it wasn't that bad!
Been here over the years. This time a Friday night Two other dinners and us Curry prawns had 4 small prawns. Terrible Meal took for ever considering the place was empty Would not return

good taste and feel homely food and can accomidate big group also and curd especially was superb and curries were excellent
After reading the reviews, I was excited to head here for a nice Indian meal.
