I had previously noticed that this pub passed while I visited a nearby location for the work. I stopped by a few weeks ago for a pint and noticed that they have served quite decent looking eating. as a friend who lives close to the oaks suggested that we all come together for Sunday dinner, I suggested that we book a table here. there were eight of us, including two little children. we arrived on the afternoon to be greeted by a very friendly employee called jamie. he put us in a beautiful, cozy corner near the bar. brilliant. another jewel of a classic pub in the heart of kent. the workers are down to the earth, the atmosphere is relaxed and social. eating is top production for a pub. ingredients are produced locally; the dishes on the menu are current twists on the traditional. the salmon capital is one of the most exciting meals I have eaten this year. it was so packed with ingredients, it would also do like a vegetarian dish. the food was served immediately and hotly perforated, the price is on place. if the weather is good, given the plentiful parking space and sitting area outdoors, this is a great place to relax and enjoy with the family.
Just got back from another excellent meal at The Green Man. We have been customers for some years now.. The new owners may have made a few changes but we are so pleased that they and all the staff are so friendly. Service is excellent. We take my mum of 96 and they always help adapt food to suit. They also welcome our spaniel. All in all my favourite pub in Kent!
OMG trying to get in the carpark school times why,why,why to have something to eat I was Asulted with someone picking up there children from school they should have signs up customs only, never come here again
