When coming to the Kingfisher Seafood Cafe, it’s almost guaranteed that you will get a massive meal that is delicious, nutritious (if chips can be considered nutritious) and relatively good value for the portion size.<br/ <br/ Additionally, the service is prompt and the staff are very friendly. The Greek salad that comes with the meals does not skimp on olives or feta and the dressing is very refreshing. The size of the fish and chips is very good- however, in recent times the size of my fish portion has been a little on the small side.<br/ <br/ If you are looking for a yummy plate of seafood or a good off campus (UQ) eatery, this is a great option. The best place for a good fish and chips meal around the Milton to Indooroopilly area. Worth every penny. Friendly staff, fast service, delicious fish and chips (and everything else). I like the fact that you can choose to have the fish cooked how you like without having to pay extra. I never leave feeling bloated and sick but full and satisfied. You get everything you need from the dinner packs from crispy chips, delicious fish, and even a sauce to justify you eating all those delicious chips. Being on a quiet street also makes eating in pleasurable. Don't miss this place!!!
Fast and easy service, no fuss at all! Loved the beer battered snapper and scallops, though I felt that their cod was a little dry... The fries are delicious too! Crunchy on the outside while fluffy on the inside, simply love the batter! Best part about this is that I get to choose my own fish while ordering! Cute place in a quiet neighbourhood, worth it to stop by if you're looking for a nice quiet meal.
We get takeaway from here fairly regularly. It is tasty, fresh seafood with really nice seasoning on the chips. Grilled fish, with chips and salad meals are our go-to!! I can't really comment on the ambiance given I have only done takeaway but it seems fairly busy with families and couples dining in on weekend nights.

Pretty good food with lots of options. Friendly and fast service and looks clean and modern. Seating area is al fresco but undercover if it's windy it gets a bit chilly but you can always take away. Good spot in the area!
Great little take away shop. Have been coming here for awhile and have not have one disappointing meal. Food portions are always huge too! Would recommend the dinner packs.Staff are also very lovely.
Great service, great staff- AWESOME prawn cutlets. Fish is sometimes a bit hit and miss. Would be lovely if they sold local fish, I'd come back a lot more. Aside from that it's pretty bang for buck
Our favourite fish and chips place. The salad and chips are nicely done! Price is not too bad for what you get. The service is quick too! Highly recommended!

Such a good little seafood restaurant that is close by. They have the best hot chips and the staff are always really nice and friendly. Would recommend!
