I have noticed this small takeout place many times while passing by, and I can't understand why we hadn't tried it sooner. Finally, last night we decided to order from Just Eat and pay with a card. Our order arrived within an hour, piping hot. The pizzas were loaded with toppings and the chips were possibly the best I have ever had. The homemade coleslaw and garlic bread were also delicious. The only small criticism is that I prefer my pizza base to be a bit more doughy, and I'm not sure if they make their own bases. Additionally, the menu is quite limited. First time ordering from Pizza, i ordered a medium chicken BBQ pizza. To my disbelieve this is what i received. 1. A tomato based pizza (they messed up my order) 2. The pizza base was completely stale like eating cardboard. 3. Toppings non existent. 4. Pricey for a medium Pizza chips £14! Was expecting something the savoy. How hard is it to mess up a pizza? Ive had better Asda Value Frozen pizza, and the sad thing is im not joking. Better establishments in the area for the price.
Well I am lactose intolerant so I can't have milk. After 3 years of not eating pizza I thought I would call around to see if anyone would make a pizza with lactose free cheese and dominoes said no, papa johns said no and Pizza Hut said no so I decided to try PIZZA SPOT as a last ditch attempt and to my surprise they said yes amazing tastes amazing friendly catering to every need and whim and I will always use this place from now on.
I kid you not. The pizza I received was a frozen Goodfellas pizza that tasted like cardboard. I called up to complain and said how unhappy I was about paying £7 for a £1.50 frozen pizza and the response I got was complete bull about how they aren't £1.50 in the shop ect ect and full admission that they simply cook frozen pizzas and mark them up massively. I have been a loyal customer of Pizza Spot for years and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. They offer delicious food at affordable prices. The only thing I would suggest is to add some meal deals to their menu. I particularly love their amazing salad with coleslaw and potato salad. I only wish it came in a larger portion because it is so delicious.
Came here after the pub. Was originally headed to Dominos when we spotted it. It's a basic place with a limited menu. After ordering we were told it would be 25 minutes which we hadnt realised, but then the guy offered to deliver it for free which was great so we were able to head home and then only had to wait ten mins. Lovely biscuity base.
We have been using The Pizza Spot for years, and they never disappoint! The food is delicious and a great value for the price. We make it a point to order from them at least once a week because we all enjoy it so much.
