The Vanilla Pod Cafe Patisserie

We were in Hugh Wycombe to see our daughter, who is a student at BuckinghamShire New University, and had brought her grandparents with her. We went into the cafe when it opened at 9am and were welcomed in. There was relaxing music, books to borrow while you wait and the space was clean, tidy and airy. Our daughter had a light breakfast of pancakes which were made to order they were lovely and light; my wife had a Turkish mint tea, the rest of us had coffees and mocha and my parents had scones, which they said were also particularly nice. We made a quick stop for coffee with friends before heading to dinner. The restaurant had a lovely appearance with small tables outside, perfect for people-watching. The service was good and the coffee was delicious. Although we didn't have cake, the selection was impressive and looked very tempting.

This is a delightful Moroccan cafe, with a very friendly host. The food was fresh, and excellently cooked to order. The atmosphere was much calmer quieter than the nearby pub, where we had expected we might be eating our evening meal. We are glad we came here instead. We can recommend it very highly.

Had a great lunch with really friendly service for a large family group today celebrating my great niece’s dedication. Very impressed with this lovely place and the nice people there.

Very slowly served and looked down at then told we can't be looked after for 40 minutes. I will take my custom somewhere else.
