Wow!! $7 for super large fresh pennywort, kumquat, jackfruit, durian, to more Asian fruit drinks!!! Wish this place was closer to me!! Sugar cane and kumquat is a popular choice and I can see why. The SO loved it but I would ask for a little less sugar cane taste for just myself in the future. I got the pennywort and young coconut which came with some coconut pieces and no sweetener!! Love that! Great for sugar free drinkers. But next time, I'll ask to pay to try a little bit of sugar cane to balance the taste out for myself. I tried this place out many years back pre-Covid! I didn't like it, but decided to give it another shot since I was next door getting my hair done bleach tone, my hair stylist Sammi said the sugar cane juice was too sweet for her taste, but I love sweet drinks so I figured let's give it another shot. So not only was my drink not sweet to my liking the lady also gave me the wrong drink! As soon as I spotted the finger bananas, I knew I had to grab a bunch, and they certainly did not disappoint—they were delicious! Love this old-school store that serves tasty drinks and is pretty much a small fruit market inside. I usually stop by here because parking is easy and also the drinks are my favorite. I will always order the sugarcane mixed with penny worth. That's the English name but it's some type of green vegetable that might be a little bitter to sine but with the sugarcane, it tastes really good and I feel like it's healthy for you! This store is just a small store so there are no sit-down places as well but what they sell is fire and I usually want to order another one instead of having just one.
Terrible sugar cane juice. I ordered three sugar cane juices with kumquat, but they didn't taste anything like sugar cane. I didn't try it until I got on the freeway, otherwise I would have driven back to complain. I know what fresh sugar cane juice should taste like, and this was not it. I will never return!
The staff member was friendly. I ordered the sugarcane drink, but it had a strong orange/citrus odor and flavor. Additionally, I noticed a C grade sign, but it was facing inward, so it wasn't visible to customers.
