This is a staple in the maplewood area. The pizza here is worth the wait. The place is small and if you go at a busy time in may seem like you could get lost in the crowd. But they are attentive and notice who walks in and out. They try to get you your order fast. I recommend ordering ahead if you don't want to wait. But just keep in mind that this place can get fairly busy so you might have to wait anyways. I always get a personal pan pepperoni which is always good and sometimes I get a personal specialty pizza depending on my mood. If you want good customizable pizza definitely come here.
I recently dined at Village Trattoria for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised. The quality and flavor of all the pizzas I tried were outstanding, and the staff, particularly Windy, were welcoming and proud of their work and establishment. The service and ambiance, along with the delicious food, deserve high praise. Village Trattoria has definitely gained a new loyal customer in me. I highly recommend this place.

However, I have never had a terrible experience there, and the other menu options I've tried have been consistently good. It's not as great as when the original owner was around, but it's still a reliable spot in the neighborhood. Overall, it's decent and worth giving a try.
Hidden gem! This is my favorite spot for delicious Italian cuisine. I always order the shrimp francese or the salmon special, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. normally hate ordering any kind of pasta from anywhere cause it is usually watery and flavorless. This was better than i have had in a long time found a new favorite place to order from. Wish i could give more than 5 stars
