Been dining for years at L Woods . Good always great and delish. This visit was my first unfortunate one. It was a 3:45pm reservation, and it appeared shift change. We were seated promptly, but left alone for about 15 mins. I finely caught the attention of host to help lease send host ….. it won’t deter future visits , the food truly is delish
We sat on the patio. The weather was great. Our server was nice and quick with drinks. I had the Friday fish fry. The perch was delicious. My daughter’s chicken tenders were gigantic. The seasonal Bavarian pretzel was excellent as well. The seasonal apple old fashioned was exquisite.
We always like L Woods food. But it was so incredibly loud last night due to how crowded it was. They really pack in the people, and the tables are very close together. They need sound proofing.
An extensive menu with great food. Something for everyone. The ambience was like advertised, a Wisconsin Supper Club. We will definitely come back.
