We enjoyed a lovely meal for 9 on a very warm evening. Good choice of quality real ales to start , and nice atmosphere with friendly staff . Wes shared spicy prawns and kalamari as a starter , which were excellent . Several of us had the goat curry , which was spicy and tasty. Also the pork belly was popular and very tasty. Both were large portions. We didn't try desserts as we were all full. This is good wholesome food , and is very good value.
After having a very disappointing meal at the Skirrid Inn the previous evening, our experience of the Hunter's Moon could not have been more different. Friendly staff, good service and absolutely delicious food. Both my husband and I went for the goat curry with rice and it was excellent. Could not have been better. If you are in the area I would highly recommend.
Beautiful coaching inn dating back to medieval times in a remote and secluded location with fine views south. Excellent real ale choice, well kept, very friendly landlord and staff. Food quite pricey but great quality. Twin room was small but comfortable a great stop over on the Offas Dyke path.
A bit quiet on a wet November evening which wasn’t a surprise but there were some local drinkers giving it some atmosphere. The tasty steak pie and the home made puddings were definitely worth the drive down the dark narrow lanes! If we were local we would be regulars. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Spent 3 nights staying at an air bnb a stone’s throw from The hunters moon inn. We had dinner here on all 3 nights every visit was fabulous, very good food including a superb Sunday lunch fantastic staff service, very dog friendly too. A great experience all round.
This restaurant is a fantastic place for dinner. We wish we could have stayed longer, but our dog was sleepy so we had to leave. The steak and ale pie was fantastic, and the desserts are definitely worth a second look.
The food was so tasty that we made a reservation to come back the following evening. The menu was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the setting was beautiful. Highly recommended!

During our Offa's Dyke trip, we stayed at this restaurant for one night. The rooms were comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious! The village was also lovely.
